The Durbanville Wine Valley celebrates “Feast of the Grape” in South Africa

The Durbanville Wine Valley celebrates the annual “‘Feast of the Grape.” Durbanville is in the Western Cape province of South Africa, it now forms part of the greater City of Cape Town metropolitan area. Durbanville is surrounded by farms producing wine and wheat.

WHEN:   March 21. 2012; Human Rights Day

The Durbanville Feast of the Grape is hosted on twelve wine farms. The day is filled with grape-stomping, wine, food, live music and hay rides in the vineyards.

Participating wine farms include: Altydgedacht, Bloemendal, D’Aria, De Grendel, De Vallei, Diemersdal, Durbanville Hills, Hillcrest Estate, Klein Roosboom, Meerendal, Nitida and Phizante Kraal.
